I've Been Working On Twilight Tags

I've been doing Twilight tags for a swap hosted by Jorden From Life on the Scrap Beach. Go check out here blog and you tube.http://www.craftypleaser.blogspot.com/
I am doing Both Edward and Jacob. This has been some of my favorite tags Ive done.
I have been late getting these tags done because we have had quite a few mishaps in my family and with our home life.
Right after Thanksgiving I had to take my husband to the doctors because he was not feeling well. My husband never feels bad so I was pretty worried.
Turns out he has a old injury that was causing him a lot of pain in his back and side. He thought when he heeled from this injury that it would never bother him again. Well; He was wrong about that one.
Then I got sick and had to go to my doctor.  I kept getting dizzy when ever I would get up and I started falling over and almost passing out. Turned out the blood pressure pills they had me on was causing my blood pressure to go way to low.
Then our car broke down and then my computer broke down.
Boy when it rains it pours buckets.
Now that things have calm down I have been able to get caught up on a few things and I'm starting to get things back to normal.
I have a few pictures of the tags I've been working on

I think I like these tags . I hope the ladies in my group like them.
Well I will be posting again in a few days. I think the Jacob ones will be done then.
Have a wonderful everyday.

New Swap Items In And Making New Stuff

I got 3 swaps in today. One was from JoAnn's dangle charm swap from Life On The Scrap Beach. Go check this site out its awesome. ( http://thescrapbeach.ning.com/ ) Be careful though the swaps can get addicting.
There where 2 groups of 10 people. I was in group 2 and we make 10 identical dangle charms and send them to the host JoAnn and she then sorts them all out into our own envelopes and returns 10 different charms that all the other people made. It is so much fun to do and very inspiring to see all the talent of these ladies. Here is the video.

Now here is the second package I got today.
These are the stick pins from Lyla's stick pin swap at guess where? ( Life On The Scrap Beach ) Go Check It Out. You'll be glad you did.
Lyla has been hosting this stick pin swap every month and it's so much fun. She won't be hosting this swap again until next year because she has to have back surgery. I will be praying everyday for you my friend. You are a wonderful person and I pray you make a safe and speedy recovery.

The last package I got today is from the 6x6 paper and goodies swap hosted by Mely
at ummm guess!!!! Yep  ( Life On The Scrap Beach ) Go Go Go Check it out. http://thescrapbeach.ning.com/
Mely host this swap every month. She's such a sweet person. In this swap you send your partner that picked by the host an envelope with card stalk paper and patterned paper and fibers, ribbon, lace, bling, we all love that bling. and a hand full of other goodies. You also will send a card and a hand made tag and a small treat.
Loads of awesome fun. I have got papers that I never seen before and wonderful embellishment's from great laddies.
This swap my partner is Angela C. from the beach.

I will be back with previews of the tags I'm making for the October tag swap hosted by Mely G. from the beach.
Have a wonderful day.

More Flowers and Mini

I'm working on making more flowers and been working on my first mini paper bag album. The album is coming along nicely but I feel I am moving slowly on it. I am hoping to get good enough to be able to join in on a mini swap eventually. I will pose some pictures in the next few days of the flowers and what I've done on the mini. Until then have a super awesome wonderful week.

Pictures of Flowers and Stick Pins for Lyla's Swaps

Here are the pictures of the flowers and stick pins I made for Lyla's from Life on the {Scrap } Beach flower and pin swaps. I had a lot of fin making the stick pins. The tags for the pins I thought of just as I finished the pins. So I ended up staying up all night working on the tags because I couldn't get the idea of these tags out of my mind.
The flowers where a bit of a pain. The grungy looking one was pretty fun to do but the one with the dragonfly was a pain in the rump.
I had cut the flowers with the cricut and then I used distressing ink on both side of the flower. I then sprayed with my Whispers of Glimmer. I then waited for them to dry. They dried but where so soft and felt damp and they would not keep a curl I new I was in trouble. I decided to coat them with mod podge to see if it wood help. It did help so I was able to finish them up and them packed all the pins and the flowers and shipped them out on the 21.
I have the weekend now to work on my mini paper bag album. Hopefully I can get a few pages done on it.

My First Post

This is my first post. I have another blog but I am going to phase that one out. I am going to be showing my work here and having freebies at times. I sure hope I can keep up with it.
I keep track of some of you scrapbookers out there and you ladies amaze me with how you can keep up with so many things. You do scrap swaps and You Tube and have your own web sites and Face Book and Blogger and the list gos on and on. You ladies are my heroes. It shows that woman can do it all. Men can to but woman are starting to get the credit they deserve.
I want to learn how to change my background and put a better back ground template on here. That's why I didn't get into blogging on my other blogger page. I tried and tried to figure out how to put a custom background but got frustrated with it and gave up. After working on it for days.
Be back with some pictures of what I just finished tomorrow.
